ik sachaa sabh sayvdee Dhur bhaag milaavaa ho-ay.
All serve the One True Lord; through pre-ordained destiny, they meet Him.
The Gurmukhs merge with Him, and will not be separated from Him again; they attain the True Lord. ||2||

In truth, everyone is reaching, in their own way, toward the same One.
And when the time is right, hearts meet that One and know it.
Those who merge in that closeness are never separated again.
Everyone is reaching toward the same One, in their own way.
Ik sachaa sabh sayvdee, all serve the One True Lord, is quietly universal: every path, knowingly or not, reaches toward the same Oneness. Union, once found by the gurmukh, is unbreakable (na vichhurheh). In the mortality-raag, this promises a belonging no ending can undo.
A Question to Sit With
How does it feel to imagine everyone reaching toward the same thing?
