Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Namdev, Kabir, Trilochan, Sadhna and Sain — each one crossed the wide water and reached the other shore.

Ravidas says: listen, O saints. Through the Dear One, everything gets done.

Through the One, anyone can cross to the other shore.
The deeper layer

Namdev, Kabir, Trilochan, Sadhna and Sain came from trades the world looked down on: a tailor, a weaver, a butcher, a barber. All of them crossed over. Birth and rank made no difference; through the One, everything is possible for anyone.

A Question to Sit With

Have you ever decided someone couldn't do something because of where they came from?
