In plain words

I have stopped searching out there. The Guru showed me the One, right inside the home of my own heart.

I saw the One, without fear and so wondrously beautiful. My mind settled down and stopped running off anywhere else.

What you are searching for may be closer than you think.
The deeper layer

No more searching outside. The Guru shows the One already inside, in the home of the heart.

Baahar dhoodhan tay chhoot paray: I am done looking outside. Gur ghar hee maahi dikhaa-i-aa: the Guru showed me the One right here, in the home of my own heart.

Think of hunting all over the house for your glasses, then finding them on your head. The search ends not by going farther, but by noticing what was already there.

Then he sees the One. The One is anbha-o, without fear, and achraj roop, wonderfully beautiful. That sight is so good that the mind stops running off anywhere else. It has found home.

A Question to Sit With

Where have you been looking outside for something that might be right inside you?
