True is my capital, and True is the merchandise, which Nanak has placed into the home of the heart. ||4||5||14||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
True is the ground I stand on now, true the seat where I rest, true the purpose I live for.
Truth is my savings and truth is my trade. Nanak says, it has been placed safely in the home of my own heart.
What is true can become the ground you stand on.
Sach — Truth, what lasts — becomes the ground, the seat, the purpose, the savings; all of it placed in the home of the heart.
