Hey, come to know the Maker of all.
When you meet the True Guru, you will understand.
Get to know the One who made everything. The way to do it is to meet the True Guru.
This is the Rahao, the "pause" line. It is the center of the whole shabad. Karnaihaaraa boojhhu ray — "Hey, understand the Maker!"
The next line says how. Satgur milai ta soojhai ray — "When you meet the True Guru, you will understand." The True Guru is the true Teacher who shows the way.
This kind of understanding is not something you force. Think of a hard maths problem. You can stare at it for an hour. Then a good teacher shows you one step, and suddenly it all makes sense. Understanding the Maker opens up like that, on its own, once the Guru is there.
