Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

The One is without fear, without shape, and endlessly kind.

Every creature that lives is fed and cared for by that One.

The One is without fear, without shape, and endlessly kind.
The deeper layer

Fearless, formless, kind, and caring for every creature: everything else turns around these words.

It says who the One is. Nirbha-o nirankaar da-i-alee-aa — without fear, without shape, and full of kindness. The first two words echo the Mool Mantar, the opening lines of the Guru Granth Sahib. Jee-a jant saglay partipalee-aa — every living creature is looked after.

Picture a kitchen that never closes, where everyone who comes in gets fed. Nobody has to earn a plate. That is how the One cares for every creature that lives.

A Question to Sit With

When do you feel cared for by something bigger than you?
