O my mind, drink in the Ambrosial Nectar of the Naam, the Name of the Lord.
ਆਨ ਸਾਦ ਬਿਸਾਰਿ ਹੋਛੇ ਅਮਰੁ ਜੁਗੁ ਜੁਗੁ ਜੀਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
aan saad bisaar hochhay amar jug jug jee-o. ||1|| rahaa-o.
Abandon other bland, insipid tastes; become immortal, and live throughout the ages. ||1||Pause||

O my mind, drink the Naam, the sweet nectar.
Forget the other thin, empty tastes, and live on and on, through every age.
Drink deeply of the Name and come fully alive.
The rahao: drink the Name's amrit (nectar); set aside thin, unsatisfying tastes and come alive with a life that does not run out.
