bal buDh suDh paraan sarbas santnaa kee raas.
God is power, intellect, understanding, the breath of life, wealth, and everything for the Saints.
ਬਿਸਰੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਨਿਮਖ ਮਨ ਤੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੀ ਅਰਦਾਸਿ ॥੮॥੨॥
bisar naahee nimakh man tay naanak kee ardaas. ||8||2||
May I never forget Him from my mind, even for an instant - this is Nanak's prayer. ||8||2||

The One is my strength, my clear thinking, the very breath in my chest — everything.
Nanak says: this is my simple prayer — may I keep You in my mind, every single moment.
May I always keep the One who is my strength and my breath close in mind.
The closing prayer. The One is bal budh sudh praan sarbas — strength, intellect, clarity, the breath of life, all of it — and santnaa kee raas, the treasure of the saints. The ardaas, the prayer, is to keep the One in mind without forgetting for even a blink.
