and your nights and days will pass, imbued with celestial peace. ||3||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Look closely at how good this treasure is.

When it fills me, my days and nights pass in a calm, easy peace.

Not a forced calm, but the natural steadiness of a heart at home in itself.

The best peace is quiet and steady, running under all your ordinary days.
The deeper layer

Sahjay maatay, gladly immersed in sahaj, describes the effortless equilibrium of a soul no longer fighting its nature. This is not excitement but deep, quiet contentment, flowing through ordinary days and nights. Peace becomes the background of a life.

A Question to Sit With

What gives you a calm, steady feeling that lasts through the day?
