This wealth does not burn; it cannot be stolen by a thief.
This wealth does not drown, and its owner is never punished. ||2||

This treasure cannot burn up in a fire.
No thief can slip it out of your pocket, and no flood can wash it away.
It is completely safe, because it lives where nothing outside can reach it.
The truest wealth is the kind nothing outside you can take away.
Unlike money or possessions, the Name cannot be lost to fire, theft, or flood, the classic Gurbani contrast between sach (what is true and lasting) and jhooth (the passing). What you carry inside is the one wealth time and chance cannot take. This is deep security, offered gently in the mortality-raag.
A Question to Sit With
What do you carry inside you that no one could ever take?
