In the Brass Age of Dwaapur Yuga, compassion was cut in half.

Dharmic faith, which upholds and supports the earth, had only two feet; Truth was revealed to the Gurmukhs. ||8||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
In the third age, kindness had shrunk by half, like that gentle creature now standing on only two legs.
Only a few still kept the One in mind.
Yet truth still showed itself, clear and warm, to those who were ready to listen.
Even when kindness grows scarce, truth still shows itself to those who look.
The Brass Age (Dwaapar) halves compassion; dharma stands on two legs. Even so, hope remains: truth still reveals itself to the ready.
A Question to Sit With
How can you add a little more kindness on a day when it feels scarce?
