Death, the tax collector, does not impose any tax on one whose inner fire has been put out, whose heart is cool and tranquil. ||5||

The True Guru is a great Giver, opening the door to freedom.
With the Guru, the fevers of worry heal, and the heart is filled with a sweet, life-giving nectar.
When the burning restlessness inside goes quiet and the heart turns cool and calm, even the thought of the journey onward loses all its fear.
A heart that has cooled its inner fire has nothing left to fear.
Rog (diseases) healed and amrit (nectar) given are the Guru's gift. When the inner fire goes out, agan bujhee, the heart becomes thar seenaa — cool and tranquil — and the fear of death has nothing left to hold onto.
