Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

In the shelter of the Guru's people, keep the Naam on your heart.

Through the True Guru's words, you begin to sense how vast and wonderful the One is.

Nanak says: hold the Naam close, O my mind — the Uniter will gather you back into itself.

The One who reunites all things is always drawing you home.
The deeper layer

Har maylay maylanhaaraa — the Uniter gathers the soul back into itself. In the sarnaa-ee, the shelter, of the saadhoo, the Guru's people, the Naam reveals the One's vastness and completes the return.
