The Giver of peace is forever the embodiment of Light; from the True Lord, glory is obtained. ||3||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
The sun and the moon are lamps the One lit to fill the world with light.
Having made them, the One delights in its own great beauty.
The One is made of light itself, always giving peace, and every honor comes from the One.
The One is light, and the light is a gift of peace.
'Jot saroop': the One is the very form of light. The sun and moon are its lamps, and it is always 'sukh-daata', the giver of peace.
