ਦੁਸਟ ਬਿਦਾਰੇ ਸਾਜਨ ਰਹਸੇ ਇਹਿ ਮੰਦਿਰ ਘਰ ਅਪਨਾਏ ॥

When my Playful Beloved came into my household, then I found total peace. ||3||

In plain words

The troublemakers are driven out, and my friends are glad. This house, this temple, is Your own.

When my playful, loving Beloved came into my home, I found every kind of peace.

When love moves into your heart, the things that troubled you lose their hold.
The deeper layer

When the Beloved moves into your heart, what troubled you is driven out and peace fills the house.

Dusat bidaaray means the troublemakers are driven out. Here they are the troubles inside: fears, and cravings that never stop. Saajan rahsay: my friends are happy. Ihi mandir ghar apnaa-ay means this house, this temple, is Your own. The heart-home always belonged to the One.

Ja-o garihi laal rangee-o aa-i-aa: when my playful, loving Beloved came into my home. Laal means dear one, and rangee-o means full of color and fun. The One here is joyful, not stern. Ta-o mai sabh sukh paa-ay: then I found every peace.

It is like the lights coming on in a dark room. The shadows don't need to be chased away. They are simply gone.
