In plain words

In the company of the One's people, the perfect Guru is my support and shelter. This was written on my forehead from the very start.

Nanak says: I, the One's servant, have found my joyful Husband, the Beloved. Sorrow will never come to me again.

Belonging to something true means you are never alone in what's hard.
The deeper layer

In the company of the One's people, under the Guru's shelter, you find the joyful Beloved, and sorrow loses its hold.

Sant sabhaa means the gathering of the holy, people who love truth. There, ot gur pooray, the complete Guru gives support and shelter. Dhur mastak laykh likhaa-ay means it was written on my forehead from the start. Put simply, it is a place you were always meant to belong, like the seat at the family table that has always been yours.

Jan naanak kant rangeelaa paa-i-aa: Nanak has found his joyful Beloved. Fir dookh na laagai aa-ay means sorrow will not cling to me again. This does not mean hard days never come. It means you are never left alone in them. Malaar's story of homecoming is complete.
