Raag Malaar
The Commentary
Raag Malaar opens under the full Mool Mantar. The shabad warns how easily comfort makes us forget, then turns at once to the remedy — hold the One Name and go home with honor. The One is named as the Giver and the very Life within every being; day and night the Name makes the clouded heart clear; and it closes on the seasons image, where the only season truly alive is the one that carries the Name.
