In plain words

There is only One. And the One is found by the True Guru's grace — a gift that is always here, waiting for an open heart.

Know that the world was made from air and water.

Have no doubt: the body was made with fire.

And if you know where living beings come from, you will be called wise, a learned scholar.

Being wise is less about facts and more about the deepest questions.
The deeper layer

Air, water and fire make the world and the body, and the wise one knows where life itself comes from.

Pavnai paanee jaanai jaat: know that creation came from air and water. Kaa-i-aa agan: the body was made with fire, the warmth of life. Jameh jee-a jaanai jay thaa-o: whoever knows where living beings come from is a surtaa pandit, a wise scholar. Under all the elements sits one living question: where does life come from?

A Question to Sit With

What is a big question about life that you find yourself wondering about?
