In plain words

Remembering the One with love, who has not been carried across?

Even those born in the body of a bird, a fish, a deer or a bull are saved in the Sangat.

The way across is open to everyone, no one is left behind.
The deeper layer

Everyone who remembers the One is carried across, every kind of being.

This is the rahaa-o, the "pause" line, the center of the shabad. Har kai bhajan ka-un ka-un na taaray: who has not been carried across by remembering the One? The answer it expects is: everyone.

Khag tan meen tan marig tan baraah tan: the body of a bird, of a fish, of a deer, and one more animal body. Every kind of life is on the list. Saadhoo sang udhaaray: in the Sangat — people gathered together to remember the One — they are saved. It is a boat with room for all.

A Question to Sit With

What would it feel like to know a door was open to absolutely everyone?
