O my Beloved, my love for You shall never end, if it is Your Will. ||2||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
Beloved, my love for You will never turn back, if that is what pleases You.
You do the loving; something larger keeps it from running out.
Love for the Beloved lasts when it rests in what pleases the One.
Preet means love. Na ultai kabhoo means it never turns back. Jo tai bhaavai saa-ee means "whatever pleases You." The love is yours to give, and its lasting rests in the flow of existence, the Hukam. You do the loving, and a larger current keeps it from running dry.
