The Home With No Road

Through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, I take the Naam as my Support.

I dwell within the home of my own inner being, where there is no path and no one travelling on it. ||3||

In plain words

Flying high or sitting still, my heart stays lovingly tuned to the One. Through the Guru's Word, the Naam is my support.

Here there is no ocean of water, no mountains rising up. I live in my own home deep inside, where there is no road and no one walking on it.

The place you're traveling toward has been inside you all along.
The deeper layer

The home you are looking for is inside you, and no road is needed to get there.

Ek liv taar means one steady string of attention, tuned to the One. Flying or sitting, busy or resting, the Naam holds it steady. Nij ghar is your own home deep inside. There is no ocean to cross there, no mountain to climb, no road to walk. The place you were traveling toward was inside you the whole time. The seeking melts into the arriving.

A Question to Sit With

Have you ever found that what you were searching for was already within you?
