Those whom You unite, remain united, if it is Your Will. ||3||

In plain words

The One is said to live in each and every heart, yet no one can see the One.

Those who live a fake life are tumbled upside down, back into the round of being born again and again. Without the Naam, they lose their honor.

Those You unite with You stay united, if it is Your will.

The One lives hidden in every single heart, the most present and most secret thing there is.
The deeper layer

The One lives in every heart, yet no eyes can see the One.

Ghat ghat ayk vakhaanee-ai means "the One is said to be in each and every heart." Kaha-o na daykhi-aa jaa-ay means "yet no one can see it." The One is the closest thing to us and also the most hidden.

Think of WiFi in your house. It's in every room, but you can't see it. You only know it's there because things work.

The middle line uses a hard picture. Khoto means fake. The fake are tumbled back into being born again and again. Bin naavai pat jaa-ay means "without the Name, honor is lost." Its heart is this: living only for what is fake and passing, we drift away from our own dignity.

Jaa too mayleh taa mil rahaa means "when You unite someone, they stay united." That happens by the One's rajaa-ay, the One's Will. That belonging holds.

A Question to Sit With

What does it mean that something precious can live inside everyone, even people we do not like?
