O Nanak, my tongue is saturated with the taste of God, who is permeating and pervading everywhere. ||4||15||

In plain words

I am dyed in the deep poppy-red of love, so very sweet. No other color is on me at all.

Nanak says: my tongue is soaked in the taste of the One, who fills everything, everywhere.

Once you taste the One, you start finding the One everywhere.
The deeper layer

Dyed all the way through in the red of love, you find the taste of the One everywhere.

This closing verse finishes the dyeing picture from the start of the shabad.

At ras rang chaloolai raatee means I am dyed in the deep red of chalool, the red of a poppy flower. It is the color of love. Doojaa rang na ko-ee means no other color is left.

Think of the best color you ever dyed a shirt, one that never fades in the wash. Love like that stays.

Naanak rasan rasaa-ay raatay means Nanak's rasan, his tongue, is soaked in the taste of the One. And rav rahi-aa parabh so-ee means that same One is everywhere. Once you have tasted it, you start finding the One in every corner of everything.

A Question to Sit With

Has learning to notice something ever made you see it everywhere?
