In plain words

Keep me always within Your will, my Master, the flow of all that is. Bless me with the glory of Your Name.

Through the perfect Guru, Your will becomes clear. Night and day, I rest in easy, natural calm.

Peace comes from moving with the flow of life.
The deeper layer

Live in the flow of the One's will, and day and night you rest in easy calm.

Aapnay bhaanay vich sadaa rakh su-aamee means, Master, keep me always within Your bhaanaa, Your Will. Bhaanaa is not a list of orders from above. It is the way life moves, like a great river. Sikhs also call this Hukam.

Har naamo deh vadi-aa-ee means bless me with the greatness of Your Name.

Pooray gur tay bhaanaa jaapai means the perfect Guru shows us that flow. Then comes an-din sahj samaa-ee: day and night, we rest in sahj. Sahj means easy, natural calm. Think of floating on your back in a river instead of fighting the current. The water holds you up.

A Question to Sit With

When was a time you stopped struggling against something and felt yourself relax?
