The Lord has showered His Mercy upon servant Nanak; through the Word of the Guru's Teachings, I have meditated on the Lord in an instant. ||4||3||

In plain words

The Sovereign Lord moves in each and every heart. The One is at work everywhere, the one in all.

Nanak says: the One showed kindness to me, the One's servant. Through the Guru's words, I remembered the One in a single moment.

The same One is alive in every heart, everywhere.
The deeper layer

The same One lives in every heart, and grace can come in a moment.

The shabad ends on a line heard all through this raag: ghat ghat rama-ee-aa, the One moving in each and every heart. It adds sabh meh eek, one in all. Think of one WiFi signal reaching every phone in the house. The phones are all different. The signal is the same.

Guru Ram Das then signs the shabad with thanks. har kirpaa Dhaaree: the One poured out kindness. Through the Guru's words, remembering the One happened in a gharee, a single moment.

A Question to Sit With

If the same Presence were in everyone, how might that change the way you see a stranger?
