In plain words

The One smiled, spoke, and gave the judgement.

All the troublemaking demons were set to work serving me.

You are my Master; this whole home belongs to You.

Nanak says: the Guru has settled the case.

Once you stop being ruled by them, even hard feelings can be put to good use.
The deeper layer

The One smiles, rules in your favor, and puts every troublemaker to work for you.

This last verse is the happy ending of the courtroom story. Parabh has bolay kee-ay ni-aaN-ayN means the One smiled, spoke, and gave the ruling. And it goes Guru Arjan's way.

Sagal doot mayree sayvaa laa-ay means all the troublemakers, the doot, were put to work serving him. That is a surprise. The strong feelings are not destroyed. They are turned toward good. Think of a river that used to flood the town. Now it turns a wheel that makes power for everyone.

TooN thaakur ih garihu sabh tayraa means You are the Master, and this whole house is Yours. Kaho naanak gur kee-aa nibayraa means Nanak says the Guru settled the matter. Guru Arjan signs as Nanak.

A Question to Sit With

How could a strong feeling like anger be turned into something good?
