The Siddhas in Samaadhi have not found Your limits. They hold tight to the Protection of Your Sanctuary. ||1||

In plain words

Hear my prayer, O Light behind all light, the first Master, spread through everything.

The Siddhas, deep in still meditation, have not found Your limits. They hold on tight to Your shelter.

Even the deepest seekers reach the One not by measuring it, but by trusting it.
The deeper layer

No seeker, however deep and still, reaches the edge of the One.

Dayv dayvaakar — Light behind all light. Kabir asks this Light to hear his prayer. The One is the first Source, spread through everything.

The siddhs were people who spent years in samaadh, deep and still meditation. Even they never found the One's end. So laag rahay sarnaa-ee — they hold on and rest in the One's shelter.

Think of trying to find where the sky stops. You can fly higher and higher and never reach an edge. The deepest seekers stop measuring. They simply trust, and rest.

A Question to Sit With

When has it helped more to trust something than to try to figure it all out?
