In plain words

Sing the One's praise, very lucky ones, and the dear One will be kind to you.

Blessed and beautiful is the season, the month, the moment, the hour, when you sing the One's goodness.

Blessed are those who love the One's praise and remember the One with a single heart.

Their lives bear fruit, and they find the One.

Gifts to charity and rituals do not equal remembering the One, who takes away all wrongs.

Nanak prays: remembering the One, I live; birth and death are over for me.

Any moment becomes a blessed one the instant you fill it with what you love.
The deeper layer

Rutee maah moorat gharhee — season, month, moment, hour: the whole architecture of time made blessed (sobhaavant) by remembrance. Punn daan na tul — charity and ritual "do not equal" simple loving remembrance — again, inner love above outward form. Janam maran rahant — the cycle of coming and going ended, a settled peace.

A Question to Sit With

How could you make an ordinary moment today feel a little sacred?
