In plain words

Remember the One, celebrate, and be happy.

The One has set a lamp deep inside you that burns without any oil.

That lamp brings deathless life to the world,

and it drives out the poison of craving and anger.

There is a light inside you that never runs out — remembering keeps it bright.
The deeper layer

The oil-less lamp (deepak bin tel) is the ever-burning inner light of awareness. Remember, and 'celebrate, be happy': the practice is a joy. The light does not scold the darkness — it simply drives out the poison of craving and anger the way light fills a room.

A Question to Sit With

What helps you feel that inner light shining on a hard day?
