In plain words

Listen, holy people: the pure, spotless One lives right there, in that inner place.

How rare is the one who goes to the Guru and understands this.

The spotless One who fills everything is there.

The pure One lives within; very few think to look there.
The deeper layer

The pure One lives right there inside you, but few people think to look.

This is the Rahao, the "pause" line at the center of the shabad. Niranjan means spotless, without any stain. Gur gam cheenai birlaa ko-ay — rare is the one who follows the Guru's teaching and understands this. Most of us look everywhere except inside.

It is like a game where the treasure is hidden in your own starting room. The One who fills everything is there.

A Question to Sit With

What might you find if you looked inward instead of outward?
