Millions, three hundred thirty millions of gods meditate on Him, but they cannot find His end or limitation.

With sexual urges in their hearts, they beg for beautiful women; stretching out their hands, they beg for riches. ||2||

In plain words

Millions upon millions of gods sit in meditation on the One, and still they cannot find where the One ends.

Yet with wanting in their hearts, they ask for beautiful women; they stretch out their hands and beg for riches.

The One is bigger than anything you could think to ask it for.
The deeper layer

Even the countless gods of the old stories cannot find the edge of the One.

Kot kot tetees — the traditional host of thirty-three (crore) gods, named here with respect. The second line shows them coming to the infinite with only small requests — a partner, wealth. Asking is not scolded; it is simply small beside what is on offer.

A Question to Sit With

If you could ask for anything, what would be worth more than pleasures and stuff?
