I enjoy countless pleasures of power and tasty delights, chanting Your Name, and placing my faith in You. ||1||Pause||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

The True Guru is my Lord beyond all.

I enjoy countless delights, like a king's, as I repeat Your Naam and lean my whole weight on You.

Lean your whole weight on the One, and you feel richer than a king.
The deeper layer

Trust the Guru, and the Naam becomes your wealth.

This is the rahaa-o, the pause line. Satgur parmaysar — the True Guru is the Lord beyond all. Bharvaasaa is trust and reliance — leaning your whole weight on the One — not "faith" as mere belief. The Name is the true wealth beside which royal pleasures are small.

A Question to Sit With

Who or what do you lean on when things get hard?
