immeasurable, unfathomable and unmoving Lord. O Nanak, He is my Lord and Master. ||4||5||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

I cannot describe how You are, O True One — unseen and endless,

beyond measure, beyond depth, never moving. Nanak says: You are my Master.

The One you can lean on is the One who never moves.
The deeper layer

Baran na saaka-o — I cannot describe You; atul athaah adol — immeasurable, unfathomable, unmoving. The unshakable stillness of the One is exactly what makes it a safe place to lean.

A Question to Sit With

What in your life feels steady and unshakable?
