Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

The one whom the Guru, the One, blesses with peace

does not suffer pain again.

The One cares for everyone.

Nanak says: I am colored through with the love of the Keeper of the world.

When the Guru blesses you with peace, pain no longer clings.
The deeper layer

Jaa ka-o gur har dee-ay sookhaa — given peace, bahur na laageh dookhaa — pain no longer takes hold. Sarab partipaal — the One cherishes all; raata-o rang gopaal — dyed through in the love of the One, like cloth dipped in a dyer's vat until the color goes all the way through.

A Question to Sit With

What does being "colored through" with love mean to you?
