Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Don't blame other people, friends.

What you plant is what you harvest. That is karma, the way actions come back around.

By your own actions, you have tied yourself up.

Tangled in getting and having, you keep coming and going, around and around.

Before blaming others, look at what you yourself planted.
The deeper layer

Dos na deejai kaahoo log, don't blame anyone, is about owning what is yours. Karma is planting and harvesting, and our own patterns are what bind us. Blaming yourself for someone else's cruelty is never the lesson; your own habits are yours to notice.

A Question to Sit With

What is one habit of yours that keeps producing the same result?
