Who, and how many have been saved, singing the Glorious Praises of the Lord?

Even the sinking iron is saved, in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy,

O Nanak, as His Grace is received. ||4||31||42||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
How many, oh how many, have been carried across by singing the One's praise?
No one can count them or measure them.
Even sinking iron floats across in the Sangat.
Nanak says: it happens as grace is received.
No one is too heavy to be carried — the Sangat lifts even sinking iron.
Booldat loh saadhsang tarai — sinking iron floats in the saadhsang, the Sangat: people gathered together to remember the One. Iron cannot swim on its own; lashed to a boat, it crosses. No one is too heavy or too far gone; the Sangat and grace carry even the sinking.
