Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

The One is powerful and full of mercy.

Spread through all, it is the support of every heart.

The shining One lives in every place there is.

And its play is more than anyone can fully know.

The One lives in every heart, and its great play is beyond full knowing.
The deeper layer

The One is ghat ghat aadhaar, the support of each and every heart. And leelaa kichh lakhee na jaa-ay: the One's play is more than anyone can grasp, which leaves room for humble wonder.

The names here come from Hindu devotion: naaraa-in, narhar, raam, baasudayv, each a window onto the same One.

A Question to Sit With

What is something you love even though you will never fully understand it?
