Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
Give yourself gladly to the sight of the One.
Hold the One's lotus feet in your heart and rest your attention there.
Touch the dust of the saints' feet to your forehead —
and the grime of a crooked mind, built up over countless lifetimes, washes away.
Nearness to the good and the One rinses away what has built up inside.
Giving yourself gladly is the heart of darsan ka-o jaa-ee-ai kurbaan: offer yourself to the sight (darshan) of the One. Dhoor santan kee: the dust of the saints' feet, touched to the forehead, is an image of humility. Durmat mal jaa-ay: the grime of a crooked mind washes off, and the heart comes clean.
