Day and night, He remains lovingly focused on the One Lord; gazing upon the True Lord, He is pleased. ||1||Pause||

In plain words

My kind Guru is forever soaked in the color of love for the One.

Day and night, the Guru's attention rests on the One, and gazing on the True One, the Guru is content.

A heart soaked in love does not have to strain to stay steady.
The deeper layer

The Guru is kind and always soaked in love, attention resting on the One day and night.

This is the Rahao, the "pause" line, the center of the shabad. Rang leenaa means dyed through with love, like cloth that takes a color so deeply it never washes out. Ahinis... ayk liv laagee — day and night, one steady attention. Pateenaa means content, pleased. A heart soaked like this does not have to strain; it rests in love.

A Question to Sit With

What are you so soaked in that it colors everything you do?
