Yogi, play that kind of harp,
the one whose music sounds with no hand to strike it, and stay lovingly absorbed in the One.
The deepest music is the one already playing inside the quiet.
The practice that matters most is listening inward and staying with the One.
This is the rahaa-o, the "pause" line, the centre the whole shabad hangs on. The anhad is the "unstruck melody", a sound made by no instrument, heard in deep stillness. To liv laa-ay is to stay lovingly absorbed. Inward listening matters more than outward performance.
A Question to Sit With
When have you noticed a stillness that felt almost like a sound?
