Sanctified and pure are those true beings, who enshrine love for the Shabad. ||6||

Holy and pure are those true people
who pour their love into the one Word.
One love, held steadily, quietly cleans the whole heart.
Pavit paavan — sanctified and pure. What makes them so is ayk sabad liv laa-ee: love fixed on the one Word. Purity here comes naturally when your love has a single, steady center, with no need to scrub yourself with rules.
