Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
O saints, those who turn to the Guru find themselves free.
The One Naam lives deep inside my heart — such is the greatness of the Perfect One.
Freedom is the One settling quietly inside you.
Freedom comes to the one who turns to the Guru, and it is not escape but the One Naam settling inside. Gurmukh — one who turns toward the Guru; mukat gat — the state of freedom.
A Question to Sit With
What does it feel like to be free inside, not just left alone?
