Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

My God is always with me, the One who knows what is inside my heart.

Remembering the Naam of my Master, I have joy in what lies ahead and peace here and now.

Being fully known and still held close is the deepest kind of safety.
The deeper layer

meraa prabh sangay antarjaamee: the One is sangay, always with me, and antarjaamee, the inner-knower who sees every hidden thing. From that nearness comes kusal and khaym, well-being ahead and peace behind — a calm that reaches both directions of time. To be fully known and still held close is the deepest safety there is.

A Question to Sit With

What does it feel like to be with someone who knows you well and stays anyway?
