In plain words

Singing the praises of the One is the sweetest thing there is.

In the Sangat, I hold the One in my heart, and the taste is like the sweetest nectar.

What the whole restless world was chasing tastes like this — the wonder of the One.
The deeper layer

Praising the One tastes sweeter than anything else you could reach for.

Raam kay gun baad means voicing the One's qualities is sublime, the highest thing. SaaDhsang is the Sangat — people gathered together to remember the One — where Dhi-aa-ee-ai, holding the One in awareness, happens together. Amrit jaa kay su-aad is a taste like nectar — the image for what the Naam is like within. After two shabads of restless hunger, here at last is what satisfies.

A Question to Sit With

What is something that feels even better when you share it with other people?
