In plain words

Wise ones and seekers from long, long ago all sang the wonders of the One — this song is older than anyone.

Nanak says: drinking in that heart-lifting sweetness, I hold the One and am filled with wonder.

The wonder of the One is a song humanity has been singing forever.
The deeper layer

Sankaadik, barahmaadik, suk, par-hilaad are figures from the older tradition — Brahma, Sukdev, Prahlaad — who all sang the One's praises; the verse quietly sets this song in a long human line. Ami-o and manohar har ras are the heart-enchanting nectar of the One's essence. Bismaad is wonder, amazement — the same awe that lives in the word Waheguru, the breath-taken "wow" of seeing what was always there.

A Question to Sit With

What fills you with amazement — the kind that makes you say "wow"?
