Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

With your mouth, say the Naam of the One — Har, Har.

Hold the One, Har, Har, in your mind.

Sometimes the deepest instruction is the simplest: keep it close.
The deeper layer

Keep the Naam on the lips and held in the mind (mukhahu bol, man dhaaray) — the whole practice in one breath. Sometimes the deepest instruction is the simplest.

A Question to Sit With

What is one simple thing you could keep close through your whole day?
