When anger falls away and the tight grip of me-and-mine loosens, a love takes its place that is always new, never old or tired.
All my little fears are forgotten, because I have a Companion who is spotless and always near.
When anger clears and the grip of "mine" loosens, a love comes that is always fresh. Small fears fade when the great Companion is near.
KroDh nivaar means anger cleared away. Mamtaa means the feeling of me-and-mine, holding tight to what is ours. The verse says it is burnt away. What is left is paraym sadaa na-o rangee, love that is always new. Think of the first morning of summer break — that fresh, bright feeling, except it never wears off.
Anbha-o bisar ga-ay means other fears are forgotten. With the One near, small fears lose their power, the way a thunderstorm feels less scary on a parent's lap. Nirmaa-il sangee means the spotless Companion.
What fear grows small when someone you trust is beside you?
