In plain words

There is only One. And the One is found by the True Guru's grace — a gift that is always here, waiting for an open heart.

Why are you so proud of such a small thing?

A little grain, a few coins tied up in your pocket, and you walk around all puffed up.

Your worth was never the size of what you happen to be carrying.
The deeper layer

Why swell with importance over the little we happen to be holding? A bit of grain and a few coins are enough to make someone walk tall. That question, in the rahau, is about where our sense of worth comes from.

A Question to Sit With

What is something small you have felt proud of, and what might you be worth apart from it?
