Says Naam Dayv, as is the quality of his soul, so is my love which illuminates him. ||2||3||

Goodness is what ties me close, the One says. I am the life inside everything, and the ones who love me are my very life.
Naam Dayv says: however open a heart becomes, that is exactly how brightly my love lights it up.
The One lights you up in exact proportion to how open your heart is.
The One names goodness itself as its tie to us, calls its loving ones its very life, and states the law of the whole shabad: however open a heart becomes, exactly that much does the One's love light it up. The measure is never rank or birth, only the openness of the heart.
