I have intuitively obtained my Darling Beloved. Through the Word of the True Guru's Teachings, I found Him. ||1||Pause||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Now my dancing is over.

I found my dear, joyful Beloved, easily and naturally. Through the Guru's words, I found the One.

When you finally find what your heart was chasing, the chasing itself can rest.
The deeper layer

My restless running around has stopped, because I found the One.

This is the Rahao, the "pause" line at the center of the shabad. Ab moro naachno raho — now my dancing is over. The "dancing" is the restless showing off and wandering of a heart that has not found its center yet.

Laal rageelaa sehjay paa-i-o — I found my dear, joyful Beloved sehjay. That word comes from sahaj, which means naturally and easily, without straining. Satgur bachan — it came through the words of the True Guru.

Think of a kid spinning in circles until they are dizzy, then flopping down on the grass. The spinning stops, and everything goes calm and still. That deep settling is what the whole shabad is about.

A Question to Sit With

What is something you kept searching for until you realized it was quietly already yours?
